A selection of images shot in May 2020, after relaxing some of the lockdown limitations. All of these were shot at Swanage, UK. Climbers in the photos are Tom Livingstone and Benjamin Corbey, routes climbed are:

1) The Roaring Boys (E6 6b) An amazing 35m trad route on a 20-degree overhanging wall at Swanage, south England. It’s rare for UK trad to be as steep and sustained - yet well protected with good gear - as European sport routes.

2) Boatpusher’s Arete (E4 6a) Swanage, south England. After a bold start (solo the first 6 metres), you then climb 40 metres up an exposed and delicate arête, in a wild position. The crashing waves certainly add to the atmosphere.

3) The Vanishing (7a+) at Fisherman’s Ledge, Swanage (DWS) A fun route which goes into the back of a cave, then out through the roof, aiming for the sunlight with the crux right at the end - perfect! It’s all above deep water, and you have to throw upside-down shapes in a bizarre, 3D setting.
